What is an Anemometer Or Anemograph?

An Anemometer or Anemograph (a recording anemometer) is derived from a Greek word “ Anemos” meaning “ Wind (The motion of air)”

Anemos: Wind

Meter: Measure

However, we can say “A weather instrument used to measure wind force and speed is called an Anemometer.”
