What is Siri ?
Siri is a computer program that works as Intelligent Personal Assistant. It’s a part of Apple’s iOS, tvOS & watchOS, and Apple has also confirmed to bring Siri to Mac. It will be available with macOS Sierra 10.12 and later version of the Mac Operating System.
Siri can perform many tasks on voice command, like making a calls, finding parking lot, restaurant etc., playing music, identifying songs and so one. Apple users also use Siri to have fun asking some nonsense and stupid questions that an Intelligent Private Assistant is incapable of doing or answering.
Siri can speak many languages; Arabic, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian Bokmal, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Thai.
Siri also adapts users’ voice, and learn from them. Hey Siri feature on Apple products allow to launch Siri without touching the device. Users are required to enable Hey Siri feature from Setting, and Siri keeps a couple of sample of users’ voices, and when they say “Hey Siri,” It matches with the stored voice, and then acts. If the voice matches, Siri pops up, else it doesn’t.
